The Seed II
A description of the night
for a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone.
the shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. to someone
who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.
Testimonials from The Seed I
“the seed was transformative.
it felt like last night I was on this high and coming back to my day to day life felt different. it has really pushed me to
make changes in my life and not let apathy and disbelief in myself keep me from going for my dreams.”
“I loved every part of the event. It was extremely beautiful to be in the presence of like minded souls.
It's hard to even describe the energy we all shared. Allie's yoga nidra helped me shut off my racing thoughts and relax into my body for the first time in a long time.
Jade's death meditation helped me forgive and love my mother and understand that she truly tried her best. Claire's manifestation meditation gave me hope that I am capable of living a life of purpose.
I feel like I left with a brand new heart.”
“you guys gave me safety. safety to just.. be. what better gift can you give someone. i am proud of myself for stepping outside my comfort zone throughout the night and acting on inspired impulses - i was able to do that because i kept reminding myself throughout the night “i am safe here”. the amount of gratitude i have for you guys for the energy and intentions you put into this night is truly overwhelming. please don’t take this lightly when i say you guys are changing lives just by being you. keep doing this stuff. all we ever need is people who let us be at home and you guys gave that to me this night. i felt the love from the moment i was greeted with the biggest hug at the door. thank you thank you thank you. i wish there was more i could say to express my gratitude but just know my heart is on fire writing this! i love you guys <3”
“Deeply moving. It was a seed for change in my life. I loved meeting others on the same journey who speak the same language.
Now I know it's up to me to keep the momentum going to keep choosing love in my everyday small actions and to keep in touch with the connections I made.”
Art is born from the core of our experiences. Let me take you on a journey inside of yourself- one where your story becomes your strength. Writing is a key to accessing our subconscious, a way of unlocking new worlds within us. Through meditation and flow journaling, we will connect as a group on a more intimate level.
I was once in an elevator when I began talking to a stranger who randomly told me about an experience he had that changed his life. He said it was called Common Ground and hands down it is one of the single most powerful things I’ve ever had the the pleasure of witnessing souls undergo. Sitting in a circle, bravery is the only thing you will witness and be called into as you transcend one of the very things that has been silently weighing on you and holding you back. Courage means feeling the fear and doing it anyway. So I leave you with the one question that has changed my life: “If not now, when?”
throughout the unimaginably beautiful highs and soul shattering lows that have composed my life thus far, i have unveiled a truth that remains permanently etched into my heart. suffering is a source of strength. it is our wounds that breathe life into our wings. none of us escape being human. we are not immune to the fragility of this existence. and when we feel safe to let the broken pieces of our minds unwind…they taste the sun for the first time. fear turns to love. darkness to light. this is my hope for this evening. that you will leave feeling a little bit more you than you have in a while. that you will meet like minded souls to support you on your journey, and carry a few more self love practices in your pocket to use in those inevitable moments of self doubt. i can’t wait to hear your stories.
